IATF 16949 defines the requirements of a quality management system for organizations in the automotive industry. The goal of this International Standard is the development of a quality management system that:

• Provides for continual improvement,

• Emphasizes defect prevention,

• Includes specific requirements and tools from automotive industry,

• Promotes reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain.

This course provides methods to internal audit a Quality Management System based on the IATF 16949, Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA) and Customer-Specific Requirements (CSRs). The course is designed for those participants that are new to internal auditing, are currently performing internal audits or process owners / personnel responsible for managing the QMS audit process.
