Overview
The 5-day ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Training will provide you with all the necessary auditing techniques in order effectively audit an ISO 9001:2015 management system. The course uses ISO 19011,”Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems,” as a basis for teaching the techniques discussed in the course. Unlike many other ISO 9001 auditing programs, QSI’s course offers a hands-on approach to auditing and incorporates various case studies (that mirror read-world audit scenarios) whereby you gain a practical and real-world understanding of how to audit effectively.
Every member of your workforce who participates in planning, leading, and conducting your company's internal QMS audit activities will benefit from taking ISO 9001 Lead Auditor training. This ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor course provides training on the standard itself, but also on how to lead or conduct internal audits and supplier audits using ISO 19011:2018, the guideline standard on how to audit management systems.
Course Objective :
- Describe the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS)-Requirements standard and development process
- Explain the process approach and its relationship to managing an organization.
- Identify if/when a non-conformance has taken place as related to compliance with a clause/clauses of ISO 9001:2015
- Explain the role and responsibilities of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow-up a quality management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011, and ISO/IEC 17021, as applicable.
- Master the auditing techniques used for quality, environmental, and safety management system audits per ISO 19011:2018.
- Apply effective audit skills and practice personal behaviors necessary for an effective and efficient conduct of a management system audit.
- Establish & plan the activities of an audit team;Manage the audit process.
- Determine an effective audit in the context of the auditee’s organizational situation & Demonstrate the activities involved in preparing for an audit.
- Apply the process approach and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology.
