This course is for those intending to acquire the competence to audit an organisation's entire OHSMS to meet the requirements of ISO 45001, either as a third or second-party auditor.
Overview
Our OH&S Management Systems Auditor/Lead Auditor Training Course teaches the fundamental auditing principles and practices, in conformance with national and international accepted norms and regulations relating to OH&S requirements.
This course provides delegates with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of occupational health and safety management systems against ISO 45001, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021, as applicable.
Course Details :
In detail, the training course will provide technical knowledge and practical skills (exercises and role play) to become a competent Lead Auditor, including via the following:
- Explain the purpose of an OHS management system and the business and societal benefits of improving OHS performance
- Explain the role of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow up an occupational health and safety management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021, as appropriate
- Plan, conduct, report and follow up an audit of an OHS management system to establish conformity (or otherwise) with ISO 45001:2018 and in accordance with ISO 19011 (and ISO/IEC 17021-1, where appropriate)
- Improve the auditing skills and create awareness on best auditing practices in Occupational Health and Safety as per the industry standards.
- Seamlessly audit all business processes, examine fields of conformity and analyze and suggest the areas for improvement.
